Bob Perry, Treasurer
With over five decades of experience in leadership, logistics, and financial oversight, Bob Perry brings a strong foundation of discipline and service to his role as Treasurer of the Mountain Community Coalition (MoCoCo). His journey began with 20 years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed core values that continue to guide him today — integrity, accountability, and commitment to mission.
Following his military retirement, Bob spent another 20 years managing large-scale projects in both the public and private sectors. This phase of his career honed his ability to lead complex operations, balance budgets, and ensure timely, effective outcomes. Today, he draws from those
experiences to ensure MoCoCo’s financial health and sustainability, maintaining clear oversight of budgets, expenditures, and long-term planning.
Joining MoCoCo marked a natural next step in his lifelong dedication to service. Bob is passionate about helping communities grow stronger — not just through charitable giving, but through thoughtful, community-led development that reflects local voices and values. Bob's work with MoCoCo allows him to stay engaged in something bigger than himself, while contributing to a vision that uplifts the people and places he cares about.
When he's not crunching numbers or working with the MoCoCo board, you can usually find him mitigating his mountain property, reading a good book, riding his bike along Colorado’s scenic trails, or spending time with his family and friends — the relationships that remind him why this work matters.
Jenn Chaney, Secretary
Jenn is honored to be part of a grassroots movement dedicated to building a stronger, more inclusive, and connected mountain community. Since MoCoCo's founding in December 2024, she has had the privilege of helping shape the organization from the ground up — ensuring that our work remains organized, transparent, and forward-thinking.
With a career spanning over 30 years in the medical field, Jenn's professional journey has been grounded in compassion, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to service. These values naturally carried over into her work with MoCoCo, where she applied her skills to keep MoCoCo's internal operations running smoothly. From coordinating board meetings and documenting key decisions to supporting new initiatives and offering behind-the-scenes support, Jenn strives to be a steady and reliable presence in the growing organization.
What excites her most about MoCoCo is the shared vision: creating a Teller County where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Whether hosting community events, supporting local development efforts, or providing resources to underserved populations, Jenn is proud to contribute to meaningful change which benefits both current residents and future generations.
Outside of MoCoCo, Jenn finds joy and balance in life’s simple pleasures — reading a great book, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, or spending quality time with her family and friends. These moments keep Jenn grounded and fuel her passion for serving the community she loves.
